RULES AND POLICIES

ADMISIONS

Fernandez Nursery School, Inc. admits student of any race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation or disability. We do not discriminate in the administration of our educational policies, admissions policies or scholarship policies. Fernandez Nursery School is open to all pre-school children in the community. Toilet training is not required to attend the school. Current student and sibling registration is held in the Fall and general public registration takes place November 1st. Please call to schedule a tour today! The child must be 4 years old on or before August 31 of the current school year for the 4 year old program and 3 years old on or before August 31 for the 3-year old program. Enrollment is for one full school year, September – June.In the event that a child must be withdrawn, a minimum of thirty (30) days written notice shall be given to the Nursery School Board. No refund will be given.

The following forms must be completed and in the hands of the Director before school starts:
  • Your child’s medical forms.
  • A physician’s statement of good health.
  • Parents’ contract (Accident release/Emergency form)
  • Authorization forms
  • Financial Agreement
  • Developmental History Form
  • FEES

    There is a non-refundable application fee due when an application is submitted. Then, a non-refundable deposit is due to hold your place. Tuition is divided into 2 installments due on June 1st and October 1st.

    Tuition payments are made payable to Fernandez Nursery School and sent to:

  • TUITION POLICIES

    Tuition payments are due in full within thirty (30) days of receipt of bill. Failure to make timely payment of tuition will result in late fees and/or withdrawal of your child from the program.Each family shall be financially committed to the class he or she is accepted into and each family is responsible for the total year's tuition regardless of the child's attendance. There are no refunds of tuition, due to the fact that the school depends on its current budget and enrollment.

    MDICATION POLICIES

    Before any medication can be administered to a child, parents must first complete and return to the Director a Medication Consent Form signed by the physician. Permission by the physician is required for both prescription and over the counter medication. Parents must bring in their child’s medication in the original container with the drug dosage and expiration date. Prescription medication will be administered as directed on the original container’s label. Forms are available from the Director upon request. At the end of the school year all medication will be returned to the parent.
